more Arunacub questions for Dr. Spotty

Dr. Spotty,

I am trying to apply pressure to the question "who am I?" ... how do I keep asking the question "who am I?" instead of looking forward to things or thinking of all sorts of other things?

If you need to picture something in your mind while you are asking "who am I?" what would be best to picture? Bhagavan?

I am also wondering: is there really space and time?

love, Arunacub

Dear Arunacub
i am answerng your qweschuns as i read them without deeper thought. fosrt impresshuns.

I am trying to apply pressure to the question "who am I?" ... how do I keep asking the question "who am I?" instead of looking forward to things or thinking of all sorts of other things?

In my small asperience of sikz months on earth, i believe that 'who am i?' is one of the questions that can be asked. there are severull udders of similar type.
When you get all these thoughts then the question "who is having these thoughts?" can sometimes stem the flow and take you into silence and the feeling of "i am".

Let's see you are currently obsessed the desire to nibble on my (Spotty's) tail. Now there ain't nufink wrong in that, cos Spotty would just love that. But you could ask "Who is it here who wants to nibble on Spotty's tail?"
This takes you into the Who Am I.

Soon you will find that you need not ask the question, you just go into that feeling of "who am i", a silent wondering of your own existence. This is also an awareness of being alive, or an awareness of being/awareness.
Some people prefer to just call it awareness.

Those who refer to "awareness of awareness" possibly wish to differenshiate from awareness of objects/body/thoughts, thus they talk of "awareness of being/awareness".

In the start we have to frequently remind ourseffs of the trooth spoken by Bhagavan and many others that we are not the mind.

If you need to picture something in your mind while you are asking "who am I?" what would be best to picture? Bhagavan?

No. If you find "who am i" difficult then you could picture Bhagavan. But the way i understand it you cannot be doing "who am i" and picturing Bhagavan. Who Am I takes you into awareness of being, not into a thought of Bhagavan's form.

However, I have been in this world only about six months, so please check with udders too. I am no authority.

I am also wondering: is there really space and time?

Most sortanly no. The mind makes me think i have been around for six months, and that i live in Cave 7 in Arunachala Hill. It is only in the Now (which also does not really azist) that it tells this to me. There is no proof that there really was a previous moment.

However, i find that thinking about such things too is a thought and a concept, so don't recommend one worry about it.

Much better to think about climbing trees and running after each other wildly.
