A pokey sleepover

Med Rhino's son, Junior had insisted on a sleepover with the cubs. The cubs too wanted that. Mum Lioness knew that this was not being realistic judging by Junior's size. And Mum was always realistic, as Spotty used to say.

A fight had broken out! Om cub complained that he was being poked by Junior's horn. Junior said he was fast asleep. So Om was put on the other side of Mum. Then Arunacub complained that Junior was poking him. This happened with each of the cubs.
Finally Mum Lioness kept one eye open to see who was being naughty.
For quite some time nothing happened. Then Junior turned over while sleeping. And each time he did so, someone or other got poked in the rib. Again a bitter fight erupted.

She then told stories about Bhagavan and his love for animals to them to get them to sleep.
(The rhinos needed a large cave to themselves, quite clearly, she thought). Junior wanted a darshan of Bhagavan and was as insistent about it as he was about the sleepover.

Om suggested that when Bhagavan brushed his teeth in the morning by one rock, they could stand below and have a darshan. The rock had a nice view for several miles. They could choose a spot so they did not disturb Bhagavan or the attendants. The cubs and Junior made up over this.

Junior's horns are covered

Mum Lioness covered Junior's horn with a large soft toy of Aruna cub's so there would be no more pokey episodes, and the cubs curled up with Junior and they all got some sleep.
